FastMed Nepal (referred to as 'FastMed', 'we', 'our', or 'us') operates fastmednepal.com, Nepal's dedicated online pharmacy and healthcare e-commerce platform. We are committed to providing safe, reliable, and convenient access to pharmaceutical products, healthcare devices, wellness products, and related health services to customers throughout Nepal.

These Terms and Conditions ('Terms') govern your access to and use of the FastMed Nepal website, mobile applications, and all associated services. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ('User', 'Customer', 'you') and FastMed Nepal.

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

2.1 Eligibility

To use FastMed Nepal's services, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age, or have parental/guardian consent if under 18

• Be a resident of or located within Nepal at the time of placing orders

• Provide accurate, complete, and current registration information

• Not be barred from receiving services under any applicable law

• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under Nepali law

 

2.2 Account Registration

When creating an account on FastMedNepal.com, you agree to:

• Provide truthful and accurate personal information during registration

• Keep your account credentials (username and password) strictly confidential

• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account

• Accept full responsibility for all activities conducted under your account

• Not create multiple accounts or share your account with other individuals

FastMed Nepal reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to contain false information, engage in fraudulent activity, or violate these Terms.

 

 

3. Prescription Medicine Policy

3.1 Prescription Requirements

FastMed Nepal strictly adheres to the guidelines of the Department of Drug Administration (DDA), Nepal, and relevant provisions of the Drug Act 2035 (1978). For all prescription medicines (Rx), the following rules apply:

• A valid prescription issued by a registered medical practitioner in Nepal is mandatory

• Prescriptions must include: doctor's name, registration number, date, patient name, medicine name, dosage, and duration

• Customers must upload a clear, legible photograph or scanned copy of the prescription during checkout

• Prescriptions are verified by our licensed pharmacist team before dispensing

• FastMed Nepal reserves the right to reject any prescription that appears invalid, illegible, or suspicious

• Forging, altering, or misusing prescriptions is a criminal offence under Nepali law

 

3.2 Pharmacist Consultation

Our licensed pharmacists are available to answer queries regarding prescription medicines. However, pharmacist guidance through our platform does not replace a consultation with your treating physician. Always consult your doctor before changing or discontinuing any prescribed medication.

 

 

4. Product Information & Availability

4.1 Product Descriptions

FastMed Nepal makes every effort to ensure that product descriptions, images, pricing, and information displayed on the platform are accurate and up to date. However:

• Product packaging, formulation, or appearance may vary from images shown

• Product availability is subject to stock levels and supplier supply chains

• Prices are subject to change without prior notice due to supplier pricing or regulatory changes

• FastMed Nepal does not guarantee the continuous availability of any specific product

5. Ordering, Payment & Pricing

5.1 Order Placement

By placing an order on FastMedNepal.com, you confirm that:

• All information provided during checkout is accurate and complete

• You are authorized to use the payment method provided

• You understand and accept the product specifications and total amount payable

• For prescription items, you hold a valid prescription as required

5.3 PricinpPrices on FastMedNepal.com are listed in Nepali Rupees (NPR). FastMed Nepal reserves the right to modify product prices at any time. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed and paid for, unless there has been a clear pricing error.

 

 

6. Delivery & Shipping Policy

6.1 Delivery Scope

FastMed Nepal delivers pharmaceutical and healthcare products across Nepal, subject to geographical accessibility and delivery partner availability. Delivery zones and timelines may vary by location.

6.3 Delivery Conditions

• Orders must be placed before the daily cutoff time for same-day processing

• Delivery timelines are estimates only; FastMed Nepal is not liable for delays caused by force majeure, natural disasters, road blockages, strikes, or government restrictions

• Customers must ensure someone is available to receive the delivery at the specified address

• Cold-chain products (vaccines, refrigerated medicines) are dispatched in temperature-controlled packaging

• FastMed Nepal is not responsible for losses resulting from incorrect delivery addresses provided by the customer

 

 

7. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

7.1 Return Policy

Due to the sensitive nature of pharmaceutical and healthcare products, FastMed Nepal maintains a strict returns policy in compliance with DDA guidelines:

• Medicines and pharmaceutical products are non-returnable once delivered, except in cases of damaged, expired, or incorrectly dispensed products

• Medical devices and equipment may be returned within 7 days of delivery if unused and in original sealed packaging

• Products that have been opened, used, or tampered with are not eligible for return

• Refrigerated medicines and vaccines cannot be returned under any circumstances once delivered

 

7.2 Refund Policy

Refunds will be processed in the following circumstances:

• Product received is expired at the time of delivery

• Wrong product or incorrect dosage/strength delivered by FastMed Nepal

• Product received is damaged, leaking, or defective

• Order cancelled before dispatch confirmation

Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 working days to the original payment method.

 

7.3 Cancellation Policy

• Orders may be cancelled free of charge before they are dispatched for delivery

• Once dispatched, orders cannot be cancelled; a return request must be submitted instead

• Prescription orders that have been verified and dispensed by our pharmacist cannot be cancelled

• FastMed Nepal reserves the right to cancel any order due to stock unavailability, pricing errors, payment failure, or prescription verification failure

 

 

8. Prohibited Activities

Users of FastMedNepal.com must not engage in the following prohibited activities:

• Purchasing controlled substances, narcotics, or restricted medicines without a valid prescription

• Submitting forged, altered, or fraudulent prescriptions

• Reselling medicines or healthcare products purchased through our platform

• Using the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Nepali law

• Attempting to hack, disrupt, or manipulate the platform's technical systems

• Providing false identity or impersonating another individual during registration or checkout

• Submitting false reviews, ratings, or feedback

• Using automated bots, scrapers, or data harvesting tools on the platform

• Engaging in any form of fraudulent transactions or chargebacks

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account suspension, order cancellation, and reporting to relevant Nepali authorities.

 

 

9. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on FastMedNepal.com — including but not limited to text, product descriptions, images, logos, graphics, videos, data, and software — is the exclusive intellectual property of FastMed Nepal or its licensed content providers.

• No content from FastMedNepal.com may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or published without express written permission from FastMed Nepal

• FastMed Nepal's name, logo, and branding elements are registered trademarks and may not be used without authorization

• Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the platform for personal, non-commercial use only

 

 

10. Privacy & Data Protection

FastMed Nepal is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of our customers. Our Privacy Policy, available at fastmednepal.com/privacy-policy, governs the collection, use, and storage of your personal information.

By using FastMedNepal.com, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, including:

• Personal identification details (name, address, phone number, email)

• Prescription and medical history data uploaded for order processing

• Payment transaction records

• Platform usage data and browsing behaviour for service improvement

FastMed Nepal does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with unauthorized third parties. All data is handled in accordance with applicable Nepali laws and data protection principles.

 

 

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Nepali law, FastMed Nepal shall not be held liable for:

• Any adverse health outcomes resulting from misuse, self-medication, or incorrect use of products purchased

• Delays in delivery caused by third-party logistics partners, natural disasters, or government restrictions

• Technical interruptions, data loss, or service downtime resulting from system maintenance or cyber incidents

• Losses arising from reliance on product information displayed on the platform without professional medical advice

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services

FastMed Nepal's total liability in any dispute shall not exceed the value of the order placed by the Customer in question.

 

 

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

12.1 Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nepal, including applicable provisions of the Drug Act 2035 (1978), Consumer Protection Act 2075 (2018), Electronic Transaction Act 2063 (2006), and all relevant DDA regulations.

 

12.2 Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms:

• FastMed Nepal and the Customer shall first attempt to resolve the dispute amicably through direct negotiation within 30 days

• If negotiation fails, the dispute shall be referred to mediation under the Mediation Act 2068 (2011) of Nepal 

 

13. Amendments to Terms

FastMed Nepal reserves the right to amend, modify, or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Revised Terms will be published on FastMedNepal.com with the updated effective date.

Your continued use of the platform following any amendment constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any updates.
